'The previous certifying body with whom we had our asbestos certificates, stopped offering them. It was through some competitor colleagues that we came on the trail of Normec Certification. Quite soon after the first experience with asbestos certification, we also brought Dolmans' other certificates to them. What struck me immediately was that they were a lot further ahead in terms of digitalization of the processes than the certifying bodies with which I myself had experience until then.'

'Another big advantage is their approachability. Something that became apparent when we got to know each other in a completely different way, namely during the development of the Chrome 6 certificate. As a remediation contractor, we were able to provide our professional input there, which was actually included in the creation of the Chromium 6 certificate. Should I need someone from Normec Certification during that process, whether it was the managing director or an auditor, the people were just reachable.

'I appreciate the pleasant, constructive discussions with the auditors of Normec Certification. They possess more than enough knowledge to test in a serious way whether we meet the standards. Whether there are never discussions? Certainly there are. But I see it in a positive light: a discussion is an opportunity to get to know each other's point of view. It makes a difference that we never have any major deviations, but it is always nice to know that you are being heard. Something that Dolmans itself also sets great store by: listening to the customer. And then going that extra mile.
