Taking an Exam at Normec Certiprotect
Since 2012, Normec Certiprotect has been operating as an independent testing agency for safety exams in electrical engineering. We assess individuals working in electrical or gas engineering. Participants in (Stipel) safety training programs can take their exams with us and earn a certificate. Safety is our top priority. That’s why working safely always comes before the pass rate for us.

Accreditations & recognitions
Normec Certiprotect is ISO 9001 certified, thereby guaranteeing the quality of the organization. The independence and integrity of Normec Certiprotect are established in accordance with ISO 17024. Furthermore, Normec Certiprotect is an examination agency recognized by Stipel.
Customized Training
Does your organization have specific training needs? If so, there are numerous options for customized safety training. Perhaps a Stipel certificate isn’t necessary (yet), but your organization does need to have employees independently assessed. This can be done with a customized safety exam from Normec Certiprotect. We determine in advance which requirements candidates must meet to pass the customized safety exam. These exams are not administered by Stipel.

You can come to Normec Certiprotect for low voltage, high voltage and gas safety exams. These include examinations for BEI, VIAG and STIPEL certifications for technicians working on electrical installations and energy networks.

Stipel PCE (person certification energy companies) is the certification applied for and by all energy companies in the Netherlands, as well as suppliers. PCE is based on BEI BLS or BEI BHS.
Stipel I&U is applied by most industrial companies and is based on NEN 3140 and/or NEN 3840.

Yes, Normec Certiprotect can also conduct personalized training exams. The requirements and assessment criteria that candidates must meet in order to pass the personalized exam are clearly defined in advance.

As up-to-date knowledge and skills are essential for safe work, personal certificates have a limited period of validity. STIPEL has stipulated that certificates are valid for three years.

The exams are usually held at locations of trainers, network operators or practical locations. Thanks to a large network of examiners, exams can be scheduled flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
