We are celebrating our first year!
Wow. What a year it has been. I mean, who would want to set up a brand new certification body and go through the rigorous process of getting UKAS accreditation during a global pandemic?
Well ... us, of course!
Our mission is to keep things simple and we think we couldn't have picked a more difficult time to bring to life our vision of a certification body that is customer-focused, straightforward and supportive.
The past twelve months have flown by:
- Our team has grown
- Moved
- Went through the process of becoming UKAS accredited and a provider of TrustMark schemes.
- Welcomed many new clients
- Built great partnerships with amazing people and organizations who have been so supportive throughout our journey.
Pioneering the certification body.
When we started this journey 12 months ago, we thought about what would make us different from existing CIs; what makes our story unique?
We knew that the CB industry had a bit of a reputation for having a certain culture. Offering accredited certification means that auditing must be robust, impartial and thorough. But does this mean that certifiers should be the tail wagging the dog? That auditors should be unfriendly and go out of their way to find problems? That processes should tie clients in knots?
Absolutely not!

Simply was born with a positive, supportive and straightforward approach that adds value for our clients. We have developed our processes, systems and teams to ensure that we not only meet the high standards of UKAS, but that we do so in a customer-focused and streamlined way - so that our customers are happy with their service and find the experience truly valuable to continue to improve their business.

Becoming an accredited certification body is certainly not easy. We spent this first year setting up and refining our processes and undergoing intensive audits ourselves. We could not have achieved what we have achieved without our amazing customers and partners who have accompanied us on our journey.

What is in store for us in the next 12 months?
More UKAS applications, more clients joining us, growth of our assessment team, growth of our headquarters team, launch of a new platform and much more.
We are so proud of what we have achieved so far and look forward to further developing our vision and allowing our clients to truly enjoy the certification process instead of dreading it!
