Normec QS first to be accredited for verification of hydrogen bookings
Companies that supply hydrogen through metered delivery points for transport in the Netherlands can green these supplies through 'guarantees of origin for other gas from renewable sources' (hydrogen HBEs). When booked correctly, they will receive HBEs in their account in the Energy for Transport Register (REV).
Normec QS is proud to announce that we are the first and only body in the Netherlands accredited for the verification of these entries of hydrogen supplies. With this verification we can support hydrogen suppliers in demonstrating their contributions to renewable energy for transport and ensuring the accuracy of their entries.
Thanks to our recognition by the Accreditation Council, Normec QS offers companies the assurance that their bookings meet the required quality standards. With this, we contribute to the further sustainability of the Dutch transport sector by helping companies with the responsible booking of green hydrogen.
