When Eyesea contacted several marine certifiers, many expressed interest in their pollution data, but were not committed to their broader environmental mission. During a conversation with Nicolas Duchene, CEO of Normec Verifavia, Eyesea found a like-minded partner with proven expertise in environmental verification and a strong commitment to sustainability.
Active on-site engagement in India
Our Indian team recently joined Eyesea's community initiative in Vasai, Mumbai, to take direct action against pollution. Representatives from Normec Verifavia Kanika Sharma and Raja Karan Verma participated in key activities:
- Beach cleanup: Removing trash and marine debris to restore the natural beauty of the coastline and protect vital marine ecosystems.
- Clothing recycling and donation: Reusing discarded clothing to reduce waste while providing underprivileged children with essential clothing.
- Tree conservation: Protect trees along the coast from rising sea levels by reinforcing sandbags, preserving local biodiversity and promoting climate resilience.
