The switch to Normec VRO
Greater is an IT consulting company and active in the field of DevOps (Development and Operations). They second IT professionals to customers and run projects with their own consultants. The human aspect is very important to the company, so the consultants always have a say in their projects and are involved in the selection for new assignments.
After a difficult start with another inspection body, Greater decided to partner with Normec VRO, with the goal of achieving and maintaining the SNA certification. Rody: "We are very happy to have taken this step. In fact, our experience with the previous inspection body was a bit laborious. We were checked very strictly on the facts, but not helped when things were unclear. While we really did our best to meet all the conditions, but the inspector said that certain points were not good and that was the end of the conversation."
"Normec VRO takes a human approach to inspections. There is interest, room for a chat and we also learn from it."

A human approach
"As a (co-)owner of a smaller company, you wear so many different hats. You're an entrepreneur, a lawyer, a sales manager, a quality manager and I could go on and on. That sometimes makes it quite complicated to get to the bottom of such a standard. If you can then work with a party that is willing to provide some explanation, that helps us a lot. The point of departure remains, of course, that Normec VRO is auditing our company, and it should be, but at the same time it is a way for us to test whether we have interpreted the requirements of the standard correctly. As soon as we noticed that Normec VRO, like us, has a social attitude. We have the same DNA I would almost say and then you work together in a pleasant way. During the first inspection we talked extensively with the inspector about our company and its structure. The inspector asked questions about certain choices we made and showed a lot of interest. So Normec VRO handles the inspections in a human way. There is interest, room for a chat and we also learn from it.
