The BRL 9321 relates to industrial sand and/or (crushed) industrial gravel for unbound application to soil. The material has a natural origin and comes from undisturbed soil. It is therefore emphatically not material released during remediation or maintenance work on (water) soils.
The guideline sets requirements for the environmental-hygienic properties according to the Soil Quality Decree and the Soil Quality Regulations. Further performance requirements do not apply. The corresponding quality declaration is issued as an NL BSB® product certificate.
