Effective July 1, Hanneke de Vries will end her work as director of Normec Certification Institute. Her last working day will be Friday, June 27, 2025. After a long and valuable period within our organization, Hanneke chooses to take a new path.
Hanneke founded NCI Certification in 2002, now 23 years ago, with a clear vision: to certify in a way that is more in line with practice and customer needs. No auditors in tight or three-piece suits, but professionals with a practical attitude and an approachable attitude. No red pens, no unnecessary formalities, but a personal approach, direct contact and short lines of communication.
Thanks to her vision and dedication, NCI Certification has grown into an organization where accessibility, transparency and customer focus are key. Her commitment to clients, colleagues and partners formed the foundation of our way of working for many years.
As of July 1, the management duties will be taken over by Astrid Plettenburg. Astrid has been a familiar face within our organization for over 15 years and knows NCI Certification like no other. Together with René Verhoeven (Manager HR and Finance) and John Bos (Commercial Manager) she forms the management team of NCI Certification. With this team, and of course with the rest of our colleagues, we will continue to do what we do best: continue our familiar approach.
