Training and Education
By equipping employees with up-to-date and practical knowledge, they can promptly identify situations that threaten the soil and respond appropriately to deviations or incidents. This reduces the risk of environmental damage, remediation costs, and production downtime. At the same time, this fulfills the duty of care under the Environment Act, leading to better compliance with laws and regulations and reduced enforcement pressure from the competent authority.
The training programs enhance the quality of internal company checks and inspections regarding liquid containment. Employees perform checks more consistently, identify defects sooner, and document findings more effectively. As a result, external inspections proceed more efficiently and fewer corrective actions are mandated, leading to lower repair costs and fewer unplanned re-inspections.
In the long term, well-trained employees ensure the proper use and timely maintenance of soil protection systems. This extends the service life of installations and prevents costly emergency repairs and replacements.
