About the CO2 Performance Ladder

The updated ladder, introduced by the Foundation for Climate Friendly Procurement and Business (SKAO) in early 2025, helps organizations on their way to zero emissions in 2050. Where previously five levels applied, step 3 now marks the highest level. The CO₂-Performanceladder not only offers companies insight into their own emissions, but also helps them draw up concrete reduction objectives.
