Prequalification

Since December 23, 2010, Normec VQZ has been designated as a prequalification institution in accordance with § 126 paragraph 1a SGB V for all areas of nursing care. The purpose of a prequalification procedure is to check on the basis of defined criteria whether a provider is in principle suitable to provide certain types of care and to issue a corresponding certificate. This means that it is no longer necessary to conduct a suitability test before entering into a contract. The aim is to ensure uniform application of the law, significantly simplify administrative procedures and increase transparency and planning certainty in the field of devices.

In detail

  • Case-by-case examinations to determine suitability are no longer necessary when suppliers have completed our pre-qualification process and received the corresponding confirmation.
  • The time, administration and costs associated with tests of competence are minimized without any loss of quality.
  • Normec VQZ prequalification certificates must be recognized by all health insurance companies.
  • As a rule, our prequalification certificates remain valid for five years, so that during this period only an application procedure for a certificate of suitability needs to be carried out.
  • All accredited prequalification institutions are supervised by the German accreditation body DAkkS.
  • This ensures that contracts cannot be concluded solely on the basis of the absence of declarations of suitability.
  • The GKV-Spitzenverband provides health insurance companies with up-to-date overviews of pre-qualified providers so that the results of pre-qualification procedures can be taken into account in a timely manner.This is especially advantageous in the case of individual contracts according to § 127 paragraph 3 SGB V.

Follow these steps

  • Download the appropriate application and its attachment and complete it completely. The attachment differs depending on the professional qualification.
  • Then please send the completed documents to our pre-qualification email address: pq-vqz@normecgroup.com
  • You will receive a confirmation of receipt and we will perform an acceptance check on the application.
  • If the application is correct, you will receive an acceptance confirmation with your procedure number. You have now entered into a contract with us.
  • At this time at the latest, you will receive a list of supporting documents , which you can then send.
  • It is essential that you assign all supporting documents to your procedure number and send them to the above e-mail address.
  • Our team will now start working for you.
  • If any evidence is missing or unclear, you will receive an email with the relevant details.
  • If everything is in order, we will make the certification decision after further review.
  • You will also receive a pre-qualification certificate for your file by email and we will quickly enter the data into the health insurance database.

Fees for prequalification

The fees for our activities are modest and always commensurate with the respective costs. In comparison, we are certainly one of the cheapest prequalification organizations. In return, we offer a high level of customer focus. For a better overview, see our list of fees. The rates are flat rates per request, per facility, per IC number for all areas of care in a request.
