Attero about Normec QS

From VGF waste to green energy

At Attero in Wilp, waste is converted into valuable raw materials and sustainable energy. What starts as vegetable, fruit and garden waste from households ends up as green gas. At this location, Attero processes 225,000 tons of VGF waste annually, a large part of which is fermented into biogas. Thanks to innovative technologies this biogas is upgraded into green gas, bio-LNG and liquid CO₂ fuels that contribute to cleaner transport and lower CO₂ emissions.

Transparency as a foundation

But sustainability requires transparency. That is why Attero opted for ISCC EU certification: an internationally recognized quality mark that demonstrates that the green gas is truly sustainable. Normec QS conducted the audit and confirmed that Attero meets all the requirements for full traceability and a reliable sustainability claim.
