Environmental Reports for Biogas and Biomass Plants
Biogas and biomass plants make a significant contribution to the energy supply from renewable sources. They produce electricity and heat on a decentralized basis (residual heat via combined heat and power (CHP)).
In many cases, an environmental report is required for the operation of these plants and to receive payments and bonuses under the German Renewable Energy Act (EEG). This report serves as proof that the relevant requirements are met. It must be prepared by a certified environmental auditing organization or a certified environmental auditor.
