The international standard for quality management

ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management. The guidelines help you better organize processes and make risks transparent. You work on your organization in a structured way and focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

The standard is applicable to any type of organization, regardless of industry or size. Whether you are an SME or a large organization: ISO 9001 helps you to demonstrably secure quality.

Why ISO 9001 certification?

An ISO 9001 certificate gives confidence: to customers, suppliers and your employees. You show that you deliver what you promise and that quality is not a coincidence. At the same time, certification helps to improve internal processes. In concrete terms, this means: fewer mistakes, more overview and better decision-making.

With ISO 9001 certification, you benefit from clear advantages:

  • You increase trust with customers and partners
  • You make processes more efficient and prevent errors
  • You strengthen your market position with a recognized quality label
  • You can participate in tenders where certification is required.
  • You lay a solid foundation for growth and development

ISO 9001 certification and the HL

ISO standards currently have the same basic structure: the High Level Structure (HLS). With the introduction of new ISOs, HLS will be replaced for Harmonized Structure (HS). Do you work with multiple management systems, such as quality, environment and safety? If so, the HS will make it easier to combine these systems in the future. This is because the chapters and basic requirements align.

Expertise in ISO 9001 certification

We have extensive experience in certifying organizations to ISO standards. Our auditors are independent, knowledgeable and often work in teams to conduct audits efficiently. As a result, several audits can take place simultaneously and you benefit from synergy and time savings. In short: ISO 9001 is a valuable investment for your company.

Roadmap for ISO 9001 certification

  1. 1.

    Intake

After your application, we will contact you. We will discuss your organization, your processes and the scope. This will clarify what is needed for certification of your company.

  2. 2.

    Proposal

You will receive a proposal from us. This contains the scope, planning and associated costs. After agreement, we plan the process.

  3. 3.

    Pre-audit

Of course you would like to know where you stand. A pre-audit (optional) shows what is going well and what could be improved. This way you will be prepared for the audit.

  4. 4.

    Audit phase 1

Your documentation is reviewed. We see whether your management system is ready for phase 2. We also see if you meet the basics of ISO 9001.

  5. 5.

    Audit phase 2

You show how the system works in practice. Our auditor visits your site so the processes can be followed. Speaking with some employees and viewing documents and records is done on the basis of representative samples.

  6. 6.

    Certification decision

The audit results are reviewed. The assessment deals with the content and whether all steps in the process have been followed correctly. Do you meet the requirements? Then you will receive the ISO 9001 certificate.

  7. 7.

    Periodic control audits

After certification, you continue to demonstrate that the system works. We perform periodic audits so that the quality of your company remains guaranteed.
