What do ISO 9001 and ISO 29993 audits entail?
An ISO 9001 or ISO 29993 audit thoroughly assesses your quality management system according to international standards.
- ISO 9001 focuses on quality management within organizations working around competence development and service delivery

- Increase your chances for national and international assignments
- Show your customers and partners that you work according to international quality standards
- Benefit from exemptions from certain audits, such as the agrément chèques-formation in the Walloon Region and parts of the SME portfolio audit
The audit process consists of several stages.
How does an ISO audit work?
-
1.
Stage 1.
During the first stage, the auditor maps out the functioning of your organization and checks whether all necessary elements are present for a complete audit.
This includes using the online DataScan module with basic data about your organization. Part of this audit can be done remotely.
After this phase, you will receive a report on the feasibility of the next step.
-
2.
Stage 2
In this stage, your organization is fully tested against the requirements of the ISO standard. The auditor reviews processes, procedures and documentation.
-
3.
Reporting.
All findings are summarized in a report submitted to Normec's Certification Committee.
-
4.
The certification
With a positive evaluation, your organization receives the ISO 9001 or ISO 29993 certificate.
