Transition Period for ISO 45001 Extended
Regarding the transition from OHSAS to 45001, it was decided at the most recent IAF (International Accreditation Forum) meeting that the end of the transition period would be extended to March 31, 2021. Once the transition is complete, at the customer’s request, the accredited ISO 45001 certificate may include additional information regarding any prior certification under BS OHSAS 18001, for example as a note: "Certified according to BS OHSAS 18001 since ..." The 45001 certificates issued by VQZ Bonn will also bear the combined IAF/DAkkS logo.
