Thanks to this recognition, companies in the food sector can apply for financial support for the training programs you offer. This makes your training programs more affordable and therefore more attractive to potential clients.
The auditor verifies whether your organization meets the quality requirements established by Alimento-IPV. This verification consists of two parts:
- Part 1: Review of the “Food” questionnaire that you have completed and documented in advance.
- Part 2: Customer testimonials are collected through telephone interviews to assess the quality of your training programs (the “Mini-ClientScan” module).
Our Approach
The process of the Qfor-FoodScan audit depends on the quality certifications your organization already holds. If you already have Qfor certification or an SME Portfolio registration, part of the process can be streamlined. The audit is then limited to the quality requirements established by Alimento-IPV.
In any case, the Qfor-FoodScan module must be combined with one of the Qfor basic methods (ClientScan, ProcessScan, WSE-Scan) or an SME Portfolio registration.

The Qfor FoodScan audit is intended for training organizations and consultants that offer training programs to companies in the food sector.
For these institutions, the audit offers clear added value. Thanks to recognition by Alimento-IPV, clients in the food industry can receive financial support for training programs provided by a Qfor FoodScan-certified institution.
In addition, the certification also offers opportunities to
- expand your activities to other regions of the country. With a valid Qfor certificate (ClientScan/ProcessScan and FoodScan), you can operate as a “Chèque-Formation” provider for the Walloon Region without an additional audit.

How does the Qfor Food audit process work?

Phase 1 – Basic Audit
If you do not yet have a Qfor certificate (ProcessScan, ClientScan, WSE-Scan) or SME Portfolio registration, you must first select a basic audit. If you already hold one of these quality certifications, you can proceed directly to Phase 2.

Phase 2 – Questionnaire for the “Food” Module
To prepare for the audit, you must complete the questionnaire for the “Food” module. In it, you will describe, among other things, your experiences and working methods regarding the organization and implementation of training programs.

Phase 3 – Customer Survey (Mini-ClientScan)
If your baseline audit is not the Qfor ClientScan, the Normec Certup auditor will conduct a Mini-ClientScan with a representative sample of your clients. The auditor will gather feedback through telephone interviews to assess the quality of your training programs. Priority is given to clients in the food sector.

Phase 4 – Audit Visit and Report
During the audit visit, the auditor first reviews the questionnaire for the “Food” module and the prepared documents. You will then receive feedback on the interviews conducted:
- an overall satisfaction rating
- feedback on the strengths that emerged during the interviews and on any areas for improvement.

Phase 5 – Certification
After the audit, the file is reviewed by the internal certification committee.
If the result is positive, we will notify Alimento-IPV, after which they will contact you to complete the administrative procedures.
