Hallmark Clean for cleaning and window cleaning companies
Do you want to show that your cleaning or window cleaning company works professionally and reliably? With the Hallmark Clean, formerly the OSB hallmark, you make that visible. The hallmark was developed by Schoonmakend Nederland and stands for quality, good employment practices and financial reliability.
Normec is 'preferred supplier' of Schoonmakend Nederland. This means that in addition to the audit on NEN 4400-1 we also check the additional, cleaning specific requirements. This way you arrange everything in one clear process.
What does the Keurmerk Schoon mean?
The Keurmerk Schoon was established by Schoonmakend Nederland, the trade organization for professional cleaning companies and window cleaning companies.
With certification you demonstrate that you:
- Doing business in a reliable way
- Have insight into your own administration and work processes
- Works according to laws, regulations and industry agreements
For clients the quality mark is a clear confirmation that they are working with a professional and honest party.
What requirements must you meet?
For the Mark of Quality Clean your organization must meet:
- The requirements of NEN 4400-1 and the applicable SNA Standards Manual.
- The Responsible Market Conduct Code; an initiative for sustainable market relations in the cleaning and window cleaning industry.
- Cleaning-specific requirements, such as:
- Clear communication with clients
- Measuring cleaning quality
- Having the right insurances
- Correct application of the collective bargaining agreement
Companies with a turnover of up to 10 million euros can opt for the Schoonmakend Nederland standard, based on NEN 4400-1 and the applicable Handboek Normen SNA. In that case, the inspection takes place once every twelve months.

Working method
How does the inspection work?

Inspection
In advance you will receive an overview of the documents you can prepare for the inspection. This usually gives a good idea of the parts we are testing. On the inspection day, we review these documents and draw some samples.

Report
Based on the inspections, you will receive reports in which the various components for your company are assessed. Are the standard(s) not met or are improvements needed? Then we communicate this.

Frequency
Once or twice a year we check your organization to make sure that you are still complying with the rules for the Keurmerk Schoon.

Our expertise
On behalf of Schoonmakend Nederland we inspect organizations that wish to obtain or maintain the Keurmerk Schoon. For members of Schoonmakend Nederland the inspections consist of:
