SNF hallmark: for organizations that house migrant workers
Do you manage housing or rent housing to labor migrants? With the SNF quality mark you show that you do this in a correct and responsible way. The quality mark is intended for companies that house labor migrants, such as real estate organizations, temporary employment agencies, companies in agriculture and horticulture, or the meat processing industry.
You can also obtain the SNF seal of approval as an individual, provided you own a maximum of one location (in addition to your own home) and rent it out to labor migrants.
Want to quickly and efficiently comply with the SNF seal of approval?
Normec inspects the parts that apply within your organization and provides a clear report. This way, together we realize the shortest lead time to results.
An efficient SNF hallmark inspection
To be included in the SNF register, you must meet the standard for housing migrant workers. We test your location(s) against this standard and assess whether you meet the set requirements.
We work in a structured and practical way. You know in advance where you stand and receive a clear report with our findings. This gives you insight into what is going well and where improvements may be needed. Our goal: clarity and speed, without concessions to quality.
Normec as accredited inspection body
Normec is accredited by the Accreditation Council. This means that we comply with standard EN ISO/IEC 17020 for the Standard for Housing of Migrant Workers - SNF register and the SNF harmonization document (registration number I203).

Working method
The 3 steps of the SNF label
-
1.
Inspection
Each company must first have an administrative inspection performed. Then all sites for which the company is the "first-responsible party" are inspected.
-
2.
Report
You receive a report from us based on the inspections, in which the various components for your company are assessed. We also report where improvement is needed.
-
3.
Frequency
An administrative inspection takes place annually. If applicable, we typically inspect your housing locations once a year to ensure you are still in compliance with SNF certification requirements.

The location overview lists all locations you hire. You also need to include locations you hire through an SNF certified organization on the location overview. Within the SNF certification, all housing locations are physically inspected at least once every two years. This ensures that each location is periodically reviewed and a full 100% control cycle is achieved.
