At Normec VRO, we are ready for the Act on the Authorization of the Provision of Labor (Wtta). Over the past period, we have focused on implementing, scaling up, and refining our processes so that we can support our clients quickly and thoroughly as soon as the Wtta takes full effect.
A Strong Management Team and a Clear Course
Together with Sandra Jonge Poerink, Operations Manager, and Monica Korteweg, Process Manager, we have formed a strong management team since 2023 that sets and monitors our course. Building on that foundation, we have prepared the organization step by step for the requirements of the Wtta. We have refined internal processes, implemented control measures, and rolled out revised, optimized training plans. As a result, Normec VRO is firmly in the starting blocks!
Investing in Capacity: Consciously Choosing Flexibility
In addition to process-related preparations, we have invested heavily in our team. Since 2024, 25 new inspectors have joined Normec VRO. As a result, we now have more than 60 Normec VRO professionals.
This gives us the flexibility to handle peak workloads and process new requests quickly and carefully, without compromising on quality or turnaround time. This investment is not only aimed at meeting current demand but also enables us to anticipate in a timely manner the additional needs that will arise once the Wtta comes into full effect.
Actively involved in the practical implementation of the Wtta
Our role goes beyond inspections alone. We are actively involved in the practical implementation of the Wtta, share knowledge in working groups, and are already conducting a large number of additional Wtta inspections. We share the insights we gain from this process with policymakers and enforcement authorities to help ensure the law is practical and enforceable in real-world situations.
Sharing knowledge with the industry
We share our insights not only in working groups but also actively with the sector. For example, we attended informational sessions organized by the NBBU, supplier events hosted by Home of People, a supplier event hosted by CIMSOLUTIONS, and the FlexFuture Event. At these events, we engaged in discussions with professionals about the impact of the Wtta and how organizations can prepare for it.
Confirmation that we’re ready
We recently received encouraging confirmation that our organization is ready. For example, we were previously awarded a contract through a tender from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW) related to the Wtta, with a quality score of 10. Additionally, the annual audit by the Dutch Accreditation Council was completed without any non-conformities.
We’re proud of that. And above all, we’re proud of the entire team that makes this possible.
