Internal company audit for liquid-tight facilities
In order to prevent an issued Liquid-tight Facility Declaration from losing its validity prematurely, you must perform or arrange for an in-company inspection to be performed once a year. This will verify whether the liquid-tight facility is still in good condition and meets the requirements set.

Our approach
During an in-company inspection we look at the condition of the liquid-tight facility and check for any defects, such as cracks, damage or wear and tear. This gives you an insight into the condition of the facility and you know whether maintenance or repair is required.

Mandatory inspection after repairing an impermeable facility
After repairing an impermeable facility, the repaired part must be reassessed and approved by an expert inspector. This inspector must be employed by an inspection agency with accreditation in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO/IEC 17020 and AS SIKB 6700.
If the restoration is carried out by a contractor with a BRL SIKB 7700 certificate, a reinspection is not necessary. The contractor then issues a Proof of Restoration under Certificate (BHOC). The contractor must hold the appropriate BRL SIKB 7700 certificate for the work, such as repair of concrete, asphalt, coating or joint sealing.
