Visual inspection according to AS6701 for impermeable soil facilities
According to AS 6701 (visual inspection of liquid-tight soil facilities), facilities intended to prevent environmentally hazardous liquids from entering the soil or groundwater are inspected.
These include: liquid-tight floors (concrete, plastic, asphalt, and various protective coatings such as coatings, ceramic tiles and steel plates), liquid-tight or paving, liquid-tight work floors in production, loading and unloading areas, liquid-tight storage areas, buildings, basements, etc.
Issuing the Declaration Liquid-tight Floor Facility is possible when an independent visual inspection in accordance with AS6701 has been carried out by one of our specialists.
Sometimes a Declaration cannot be issued directly because, for example, there are defects in the floor/paving. The most common defects are cracks in the floor, open joints at pouring seams, connections, penetrations, etc. In this case, you will receive in our report the necessary repair options along with clear drawings and photos.
Our approach
After placing the order, we schedule the inspection according to AS6701 The inspection consists of a careful assessment of the liquid-tight facility. Photographs will be taken and inspection drawings drawn up.
After completion you will receive a report. Does the facility demonstrably meet the requirements? Then we issue the Liquid-tight Facility Declaration.
