NEN+ certification for the poultry sector.
Do you work in the poultry sector? Then you must comply with the NEN+ regulation. The regulation is laid down in article 76 of the Collective Agreement for the Poultry Industry. The cao Plukon Poultry has been added to this as of January 2026. This means that the cao Plukon Poultry, which is excluded from the Cao Poultry, is also covered by the controls. We test companies doing business with Plukon on the same conditions, but related to the Plukon collective labor agreement.
The goal: to structurally monitor the correct application of the terms and conditions of employment under the CBA.
Clients in the poultry industry may only work with NEN+ certified companies. This makes certification not a choice but a condition for remaining active in the market.
Our approach to NEN+ certification
Temporary workers in the poultry industry may only perform work in the primary production process when employed by a temporary employment agency that:
- Has the SNA quality mark and is registered in the Register Normering Arbeid (SNA)
- Is certified as a NEN+ company and is included in the register of temporary employment agencies in the poultry processing industry (under sector Poultry)
Future-proof entrepreneurship
Legislation is changing and clients are making higher demands. With an up-to-date NEN+ certification you are prepared for these developments. We not only help you obtain certification, but also help you guarantee quality in the long term. In this way you will continue to comply with the collective labor agreement and maintain your position in the market.
Working method
How does NEN+ certification work?
-
1.
Assessment
First we assess whether there is a "Company in the sector". Companies in the sector must apply the (avv) collective labor agreement for poultry.
-
2.
Assessment
Compliance with a number of CBA provisions is tested, such as working hours, remuneration, bonuses and job classifications.
-
3.
Register admission
If you meet the requirements, Normec confirms the positive inspection result to the SNA and you are admitted to the register under the Poultry sector.
