About us

Over 30 years of experience in quality auditing and certification

As early as the 1990s, CertUp—then known in Belgium as Management Information—was the first Belgian company to conduct quality audits for educational providers and, later, for consulting firms. Since there were no methods suitable for these sectors, the company developed its own Qfor audit methodology as well as the IT tools necessary for its implementation. Today, more than 30 years later, this expertise and these tools enable Normec CertUp to support both independent institutions and large organizations in Belgium and France.

The Convergence of Two Complementary Areas of Expertise

In 2019, Normec CertUp merged with Maïeutika in France. Since 1998, Maïeutika had been supporting, among others, educational institutions, stakeholders in skills development, and organizations in the social and solidarity economy. This merger brought together many years of experience in the field of certification, in-depth practical knowledge, and a strong culture of continuous improvement. The merger of CertUp and Maïeutika subsequently evolved into one of the first bodies accredited by COFRAC for Qualiopi certification.

A human-centered, consistent, and committed approach

Today, the organization—which operates in Belgium and France—is part of the European Normec Group and continues to grow under the name Normec CertUp. It maintains its specialized, human, and personalized approach while benefiting from the resources, stability, and expertise of an international group active in the fields of testing, inspection, certification, and compliance.

Frequently asked questions about Normec CertUp

Normec CertUp is a specialized audit company with more than 30 years of experience in quality audits, certification and registration audits. CertUp supports organizations within training, consultancy and competence development with independent audits and practical guidance.

Normec CertUp supports, among others, training organizations, consulting companies and service providers who want to demonstrate their quality or obtain professional accreditations.

You can contact Normec CertUp for Qfor audits, ISO audits, registration audits for the SME portfolio, WSE audits and audits for training and consulting organizations, among others.

A Qfor audit is a quality audit for organizations active in training, coaching and consultancy. With a Qfor certification you show that your services meet clear quality criteria and are professionally assessed by an independent party.

Organizations choose Normec CertUp because of the combination of independence, personal guidance and years of experience. Thanks to the people-oriented approach and practical way of working, organizations not only receive an audit, but also insights that help to further improve processes and services.
